"JQJ213- Now With An Extra Cylinder!" (jqj213)

I’ll take either a V70R or S60R. But I need it to be flash green with the Atacama interior. Mom said it was hideous. Friends say it’s one of the weirdest color combos ever. I love it.
It will definitely get noticed! And it’s factory!
I see one of these in my future. Fingers crossed.

I once heard someone describe Bulldogs as walking the delicate tightrope between radically ugly and cute as hell.
That color combo pretty much follows the same formula.

My uncle had a turquoise F150 and he got an orange stripe painted on it and a Dolphins logo on the gate.

Really funny you mention that actually...
We have a bulldog!
Maybe that’s why I like it so much!

He’s the one that bought the C30 Polestar! I’m so jealous!
That looks great too. Much easier to blend in and pull off sleeper status!

I love it. I now know which trim to look for in scrap yards to replace my current beige. Either that or brown.

This combo is the reason I ended up ordering my Power Blue V60 with Beechwood leather. The only contrasting combo that came somewhat close. Do it!

You have power blue and beechwood?!! Didn’t know that combo was possible!
My dad has a Power Blue (with soft beige) V60!

I love that beechwood leather. I wish I had that. Not quite as orange as that Atacama, though. Volvo should really offer a real orange exterior. Everyone should, obviously, but especially Volvo. Maybe I should get this treatment on the C30, in and out.

I like the interior, but can't say enough negative things about the paint. That's the color a Ford Probe would've come with.

I totally need more orange in my life. I had to get rid of my orange rug because it was too dirty and beat up.
I knew you’d show up in a Volvo thread. I do like that Power Blue, too, but Power Orange would be much more epic.

That looks delicious. But, what’s a frikandel ? A fried sausage?
Jobjoris
> Jonee
09/13/2016 at 03:46 | 1 |
Due to the absence of a skin, one could argue that technically it is not a sausage, it get’s it “crust” due to the frying . They’re supposed to be marketed in the US as well, either as a Dutch Dawg or a Freakandel .
Just check out where Sweet Amsterdam’s Food Truck is !

Do sausages have to have skin? What else would it be? It’s sausage shaped.
Yeah, I read about that food truck. I’ve never seen any Freakandels, but it looks like there’s a new Holland International Market not too far away. Maybe I can get to try all these Dutch delicacies after all.

Well, as it is in it’s definition I suppose it is:
A sausage is a food usually made from ground meat, often pork, beef or veal, along with salt, spices and breadcrumbs, with a skin around it.
Otherwise all the tissues and organs would disintegrate/fall apart in a heartbeat. It’s not the shape that defines a sausage, just the fact it’s meat and other stuff put together in a casing. This
is shaped different than
That market is amazing, the even have many variations of Venco drop!!!

09/15/2016 at 02:26 | 1 |
Well, that makes sense to me, but there are sausages without casings that are called sausages. Like breakfast sausages don’t have a casing.
Note your definition says “usually.” Not “always.”
What’s Venco drop???
Jobjoris
> Jonee
09/15/2016 at 04:47 | 1 |
That “usually” in my definition is about the fillings ;-) And the breakfast sausages I know do have a casing!
Venco is a brand of drop. Drop is a bit like your licorice. Try it!
Jonee

09/15/2016 at 14:26 | 1 |
What about a sausage patty? That doesn’t have a casing, nor is it “sausage shaped.”
I will try Venco drop. I love licorice. And I like all the shapes they apparently come in.
Jobjoris
> Jonee
09/16/2016 at 02:26 | 1 |
I’m not familiar with the term patty. It could be sausage shaped when it was cut from a big sausage. From which the casing was taken to simplify the cutting process. ;-)
Enjoy that Venco! There’s also salty drop but that might be somewhat too early for you.
Jonee
> Jobjoris

A patty is ground meat made into a round flat shape. Hamburgers are patties. So, these started life as a patty and we still call them sausages. They put them on Egg McMuffins sometimes instead of ham. We call that a Sausage McMuffin.
Too early? I can enjoy salty candy any time of the day.

A patty McMuffin! The only Patties I know are the Crabby Patties (which make way more sense now, thank you!) from Mr. Crabs!
Then make sure you get Venco’s Dubbel Zout !

There’s a place called “Mr. Crab’s?” Awesome. Do they have a cartoon crab logo? I’ve also had shrimp patties. They’re good.
Since it’s their best recept, I will. Must be super salty.

Might be with a “K”. You don’t know him? Of course you do...
“Engelse drop” is amazing too. Especially because no one in “Engeland” knows it. It’s typical Dutch stuff...
Jonee

Oh, from Spongebob. I never watch Spongebob. Someone should open a chain of Mr. Crab’s, though. With the patties, and crab legs, and stuffed crab. I like eating crab.
What flavor is Engelse? We have English muffins that don’t seem to be English. They eat more scones over there and we don’t call those English bread cakes, or something.
Jobjoris
> Jonee
09/19/2016 at 03:23 | 1 |
I can’t stand crab. Or any of the lobster/shrimp family. I get a swollen tung from that. I do like Spongebob though. And Patrick.
It’s not even real drop I suppose, Engelse drop. Maybe the colors remind me of the Union Jack or something. Man was I wrong, it is English . Never ran into it over there!

That sounds like an allergy. Shellfish isn’t kosher, so maybe there’s some of my people in you. Who’s Patrick? Is he the starfish, or am I thinking of a different show?
Oh, those things. Yeah, those are great. They look English. They love colorful sweets. It’s no wonder they have bad teeth.
Jobjoris

It is. Calamares I can stand. Mussels a bit. You aren’t allowed to eat that??? Patrick is the starfish with the swimsuit. I love that series. Did you see that Das Boot trailer of his movie a few years ago?
The English... Such a sophisticated people...
Jonee

Well, I don’t keep Kosher, so I can eat whatever I want and I do. I love seafood. But, shellfish is verboten for those who are Kosher. Oh, I had seen that Das Boot thing. Or, is that Crimson Tide ? Or, both? I don’t think James Earl Jones was in Das Boot . Spongebob does look good, I just never got into. Rick & Morty , on the other hand, is one of my favorite things in the universe. You should check that one out if you haven’t.
People talk about how we eat, but the English are crazy with their desserts. This is a normal thing for adults to eat to them.
It kind of looks delicious for a kid’s birthday party.
Jobjoris

Those first 15 seconds definitely are Das Boot . I don’t think Jürgen Prochnow was in Crimson Tide . After that it’s some Hollywood flick, you’re right. First time I saw that trailer I almost peed my trousers, it’s so hilarious. Prepare to dive!
Definitely see more of SB. Josje loves his movies. Krista can’t stand his laughter. I’ve seen a few Rick & Morty episodes, great show.
The English are disgusting. Especially on holidays.
